“Oldies but Goodies” this band comes to play with a big serving of heart and soul and good rockin’ fun.

The group has its origins in the ‘60s and was a popular tavern and party band throughout the Olympia area. It’s membership has included such notable Northwest musicians as Ron Holden, Willy Washington and multi-horn wizard, Jay Thomas. The music is old school blues, funk, and solid Rock and Roll.

For nearly 25 years the band was on hiatus and reformed in 1999 after getting together to play at a party honoring all the old Olympia Rockers.

The new millennium showcases The Mud Bay Blues Band’s emergence back into the music scene, and they have completed their first recording, which makes their great music finally available to their fans. It’s a collection of some of the favorites that were enjoyed and packed the house at their gigs.
